Graph denotes theoretical maximum performance of the scanner, using the indicated off-the-shelf servo tunings, and driven by our Mach-DSP servo driver with a +/-24V power supply. For some waveforms, the performance is limited by the heat generated by the scanner. For other waveforms, the performance is limited by the servo tuning, which may prevent the scanner’s position from faithfully following the command input waveform beyond a certain frequency or angle. Although the data shown here is theoretical, expected results should be within 10% of the numbers shown here, with proper galvo heat sinking.
